Foster

We are a foster-based organization. Our foster families care for our furry friends until we find them a forever home. Becoming a foster gives rescued animals the care and love they need, when they need it most. The rewards are endless!

Foster Fur Credit is a program where high school students earn community service hours for fostering. Responsibilities include: feeding, exercising, bringing the animal to adoption events, and providing lots of TLC. A parent must complete the foster application on behalf of their child.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Henrico Humane Society. All of our roles are currently filled - we expect to start taking new applications in January. Foster parents are always needed!
