The 25th Annual Pet Expo promises to be a tail-wagging celebration for animal lovers of all ages. Funds raised through the event directly support our mission to rescue animals from across Central Virginia and place them in loving homes. This can’t-miss tradition has something for everyone!
Activities for the Whole Family
Attendees can explore more than 60 vendors and enjoy live demonstrations, music, and food throughout the day. Bargain hunters will want to browse the AUCTION (online bidding starts February 9th) featuring more than 100 items. Hoping to add a furry family member? Come and meet adoptable dogs ready to find loving homes.
What Can Your Pet Do?
Pets of all kinds can join in the fun! Canine attendees might strut their stuff in fun contests or run in puppy races, sprint through a lure course, enjoy dog-friendly ice cream, or get their nails trimmed. Create a lasting memory by having your pet pose for professional photos or have their likeness captured in a custom caricature. Online ticket purchasers can register for a FREE Leash Manners training class at the event by The Dog Wizard.
* All pets must be at least 4 months old, current on all vaccinations, & be leashed or secured in a carrier.
Fun for Kids
Families will find no shortage of kid-friendly activities. Young animal lovers can enjoy face painting, games and crafts. Kids can “adopt” their own plush pet at our stuffed animal adoption stand and bring it to the Little Paws Vet Clinic for an exam.
