The 25th Annual Pet Expo promises to be a tail-wagging celebration for animal lovers of all ages. Funds raised through the event directly support our mission to rescue animals from across Central Virginia and place them in loving homes. This can’t-miss tradition has something for everyone!

Activities for Everyone

Attendees can explore more than 60 vendors and enjoy live demonstrations, music, and food throughout the day. Bargain hunters will want to browse the auction featuring over 100 items, and anyone hoping to add a furry family member can meet adoptable dogs ready to find loving homes.

What can your dog do?

Pets of all kinds are encouraged to join in the fun! Canine attendees can strut their stuff in fun contests or run in puppy races, sprint through a lure course, enjoy dog-friendly ice cream, or get their nails trimmed. For lasting memories, pets can pose for professional photos or even have their likeness captured in a custom caricature.

* All pets must be at least 4 months old, current on all vaccinations, and be leashed or secured in a carrier.

Fun for kids

Families will find no shortage of kid-friendly activities. Young animal lovers can enjoy face painting, games and crafts. There will also be a stuffed animal adoption stand where kids can “adopt” their own plush pet and bring it to the Little Paws Vet Clinic for an exam.
