Once a Henrico Humane kitty, always a Henrico Humane kitty.
Sometimes a cat or kitten is adopted from Henrico Humane Society and years down the road something terrible happens, leaving that cat in need of a new home. When that happens, Henrico Humane always steps up to help find that cat a new home. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened to our sweet Tabitha. Tabitha was adopted into a loving forever home, but then her owner fell ill and could no longer care for her. So, she returned to our care.
Unfortunately, when Tabitha returned to us, we noticed that she was experiencing hair loss, which we thought was due to stress. After lots of tests and treatments, we discovered that Tabitha actually suffers from severe allergies. Between medication, bloodwork, special food, and trips to the specialist her medical expenses have exceeded $2000. But we are happy to report that Tabitha is doing well on her current treatment and is ready to find her forever home.
