Elsa was brought into a nearby animal shelter in April of 2008 with a flea collar wrapped around her neck and one front leg. The collar had become embedded in her neck and leg. She was in desperate need of medical attention and long term wound care. Elsa was placed into foster care and started the process of vet visits that led to two surgeries to repair the damaged skin under her front leg. It was a difficult area to heal. Through the whole ordeal Elsa was literally all purrs. She had to frequently endure cleaning and medical treatments that had to be almost unbearable. Even while having her stitches removed she purred and kneaded her paws the whole time! She is a remarkably sweet and gentle girl. Elsa has recovered and is now looking for her forever home.
