Henrico Humane Society takes in strays found in the community, rescues animals from shelters, and accepts pets surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. Henrico Humane Society does not have a shelter; all of our animals are kept in temporary foster homes until permanent, loving homes can be found for them. Adoption stands are held on Saturdays at various locations.
